I grew up all over the country, graduated from one of the country’s strongest writing programs, taught high school English for three years, earned my MBA from Wake Forest University and, in 2015 I founded toth shop, where my variety of experiences came together.

my north star
David Foster Wallace delivered the commencement speech to my graduating class at Kenyon College. His words resonated with me and have since become my north star. It’s the single piece I return to constantly and share with everyone; it has become my guiding philosophy.
On a daily basis, I’m equal parts: thinker, writer, teacher, leader, listener, editor, small business owner, entrepreneur, Google Meet-er, Corgi parent.
